Fluffy Lemon Noodles was a guild formed on the 11th of January 2014 By Dan (Eusebeia, current Guild Leader) and Tana and Andy, who have subsequently both left us for other projects, with the aim to be a fun guild with a raiding aspect involved with it. Starting on Azjol-Nerub, the recruitment side of things was generally quite a slow experience. With people mainly coming from cross realm due to previous connections. Siege of Orgrimmar Flexible difficulty was the first obsticle which was accomplished, largely due to the recruitment of Mhina, a leading member of a leading guild on the server. He raided in both guilds and offered valuble guidence to an inexperienced set up. A core team started to be set up and this team stayed together throughout the whole of Normal difficulty raiding, and largely contributed to the success of the guild in its first ever raid tier together, resulting in a 11/14 Heroic progression before Prepatch, due to the large social set up that was a foundation for the raid team, we also managed to get 14/14 mythic difficulty after prepatch.
Going into the Expansion, we had a huge roster which led to exciting times. Eagerly awaiting the first raid we had over 30 people in our roster which led to 2 team raiding early on in the first raid tier in highmaul. Due to real life cropping up, subs running out and people losing interest in the game, this roster was cut drastically before we managed to get Horde First Imperator heroic on Azjol-Nerub. Going into mythic we were still losing people due largely to the lack of engagement people had with the introduction raid of the expansion. We suddenly had number problems and finished the tier on 2/7 mythic progression.
Blackrock Foundry was the second raid of Warlords of Draenor, and was not as successful as the early success of the guild, Normal mode was blitzed as expected, but heroic was often quite slow going, 9/10 heroic was also cleared but Blackhand, although being one of Blizzard self confessed hardest boss in a while, was a real trouble boss, and just wasnt really going anywhere. As well as Blackhand going badly, we didn't really have a solid core prepared to tackle Mythic difficulty anymore. So when the guild Mhina was involved with, Citizen of Limited Value, was also starting to have issues, it was agreed to give a guild merger an attempt in an effort to get more progress for both guilds, as they were both at roughly the same stage. The merge was quite successful early on, and in Blackrock Foundry, resulted in 6/10 Mythic Progress. Hellfire Citadel came along and, although the progression was going quite well, the merge was starting to have a few problems, and resulted in the guild breaking down. Remaining Fluffy Lemon Noodles, as well as some Citizens of Limited Value, decided that moving realm to try start fresh was the best option. Thus our journey continued onto Tarren Mill, and has resulted in the current guild which has picked up roughly where we left off in April 2015.
In Hellfire Citadel, we managed to clear 11/13 mythic before prepatch. We had waining interest for large periods in the latter end of the tier, this severely impacted our capabilities of progressing which eventually caused us to call it a day until legion.
In Legion, we have managed to clear Emerald Nightmare on Mythic difficulty achieving our first completion of a full raid tier on the highest difficulty (Not including prepatch Garrosh Hellscream).
We then proceeded to clear the Trials of Valor, completing the instance with a cutting edge achievement. As well as taking the Nighthold and defeating Gul'dan on Mythic difficulty for our third cutting edge achievement of the expansion.
Currently, we are progressing in Tomb of Sargeras. Our progress is 8/9 heroic, with a best attempt of 9% on Kil'jaeden heroic.
